Climate:

Coastal regions of Germany have a temperate climate with warm summers and mild cloudy winters. Inland, the climate is more continental with warmer summers and colder winters. The Alpine and upland regions have cooler weather and more rain. Rain can be expected throughout the country all year round.

Language:

German  is a West Germanic language, related to and classified alongside English and Dutch. Spoken by approximately 100 million native speakers, German is one of the world's major languages and the most widely spoken first language in the European Union.

Currency:

The currency of Germany is known as Deutsch Mark. It is one of the strongest currencies in the whole world. The Deutsche Mark, which means German Money, was the official currency of West Germany prior to its unification with East Germany. After 1991, it became the currency of unified Germany. The Germany currency is divided into 100 pfennig.

Population:

 The German Population mirrors the Europe of today. The Population of Germany is made up of native Germans as well as immigrants from other parts of Europe and Asia. A substantial number of German citizens are of African origin.
German Population is 82,282,988 people as per the July 2010 census.

Berlin  is the capital city of Germany, and is one of the 16 states of Germany.
