National Recognition of Training Package QualificationsFlowers Design School recognises and accepts all AQF qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by other Registered Training Organisations in Australia, enabling individuals to receive National recognition of their achievements. If you have recently completed a qualification with another Registered Training Organisation, it may be that some Units of Competence from the Floristry Training Package WRF04. When you enrol, bring the original copy of your Certification and any details of Units of Competence achieved. The Training Administration Officer will then determine if these can be recognised. Workshops Flowers Design School recognises the need for florists to find a competitive edge. Our themed workshops are a fantastic way to keep in touch with the latest trends and apply these to your everyday work. All workshops are extensively researched and are constantly updated to keep pace with the latest local and international floral techniques. Attendees leave the workshop skilled, inspired and motivated. Flowers Design School’s main series of workshops tour once a year to Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. If you are anything like I was one year ago, sitting there wondering what to do with your life, I decided I had had enough of sitting in front of a computer and took the biggest challenge of my life. I took a one year leave from work and jumped on the plane leaving Oslo in Norway to head to Australia. Now a year later I have just finished my exam and I am very proud of my results. I can now call myself a Floral Designer and can choose which field I want to work in, be it bridal work, funeral work, commercial, entering floral competitions, creating advanced floral designs, corporate work, opening my own business or just producing my own desings as a hobby. If you are from another country like myself or from another part of Australia, I can highly recommend taking the trip to attend this course.
