Student Welfare Services
We place a great deal of importance on your welfare and want your experience at Cardiff College International to be a happy and successful one. It is exciting studying in a different country but we understand that you may find things a little confusing or difficult at times.
You may feel homesick or have other problems, so there is always someone available for you to talk to. The following services are available:

  1. Induction / Orientation Programme:
Run in September and January to help you get to know your tutors and fellow students and to enable you to feel relaxed and settled during the first few days.

  2. Personal Tutor:
You'll have a personal tutor who will spend time with you regularly, discussing your progress or anything else you want to talk about.

  3. International Office:
The International Office staff are helpful and approachable and can provide information and support regarding all kinds of welfare issues such as health, accommodation, visas and immigration.

Social Activities
The college also organises a number of social activities for students throughout the year, most of which are free. Social activities are a vital complement to your studies as well as a great way to make new friends and get to know Welsh / British culture.

Cardiff - The Capital City of Wales
Cardiff is a great place to be a student. Besides our own college, a Further Education College, there are two large universities and the Welsh College of Music and Drama. Although Cardiff is a very cosmopolitan city, it does not have an over-concentration of foreign students and you will find it easy to practice the language here.
