Climate:	Djibouti's climate is in general hot and humid; it is one of the hottest countries in the world. The annual average temperature is about 32úC (90úF), with the November to March temperature averaging 20úC and the temperature in July averaging 41úC (106úF). From June to August, the extreme heat can reach 45úC.
Language:	The country of Djibouti is situated in the eastern part of Africa. The major Djibouti languages that are spoken in the country are French and Arabic.
Currency:	The Djiboutian franc, denoted by the ISO code DJF is the official currency of Djibouti, an African nation. Divided into 100 centimes, the franc has been pegged to the United States dollar since 1973.

Population:	The population of Djibouti in 2003 was estimated by the United Nations at 703,000, which placed it as number 157 in population among the 193 nations of the world. In that year approximately 3% of the population was over 65 years of age, with another 43% of the population under 15 years of age.
Capital City:	The City of Djibouti is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Djibouti, a nation in the Horn of Africa. It lies on a peninsula that divides the Gulf of Aden from the Gulf of Tadjoura.
