The school is located in Zahraa Al Maadi, a southern district of Cairo. Facing the school premises are seven acres assigned as a green area. The educational programme is tutored in the English language from Kindergarten through Secondary. Junior and Senior students receive French as a second foreign language. All language sessions are tutored by qualified teachers who are native speakers of the language. New Horizon School follows a curriculum which is a supplied by the Ministry of Education in Egypt, as well as the British International curriculum. Also included are supplementary subjects tutored on an international scale, which are essential for developing students' intellectual and cultural skills. All students are exposed to art, music, sports and computer sessions. Excursions are also an integral part of the New Horizon general knowledge programme. New Horizon students have use of the school's library for research, as well as recreational reading.
