Tema International School - GhanaTema International Tema International School opened in October 2003. The school's aims and objectives are to provide a holistic education that complements the National Education System and facilities access into international universities through subscription to the IGCSE programme of the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). The academic block has 12 classrooms which currently include science and computer laboratories. By the 2005/06 academic year when the IB begins, a modern resource center to house permanent laboratories, a library and other resource rooms would be operational. Accommodation in the boarding house is spacious and well planned. Six students share a dortmitory with two bathrooms and two toilets and have access to a commom room. Superivison is provided by the presence of the house guardian who has his/her apartment in the wings of the boarding house. There are plans for a resource centre, senior science and computer lab, a library, staff apartments and a playing field.
