Sekolah Pelita Harapan - Lippo KarawaciYayasan Pendidikan Pelita Harapan (Light and Hope Educational Foundation), was chartered in 1992 and exists as a legal Indonesian national not for profit educational foundation in Indonesia. Yayasan Pendidikan Pelita Harapan currently operates five private, coeducational and distinctly Christian institutions in the nation of Indonesia. At the Lippo Karawaci (Lippo Village) campus (which opened in 1993) the age range served is pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The languages of instruction are English and Bahasa Indonesia. In September 1999 the International Baccalaureate Organization granted permission to Sekolah Pelita Harapan to implement the IB Diploma programme, and in July 2000 the first year of implementation of the Middle Years Programme in grades 7-8 began.
