It was established in 1992. MIS is an international Baccalaureate world school authorized to give the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for grades 11 and 12; the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for grades 5 to 10 and for KG to Grade 4 Mashrek is now the first authorized school in Jordan for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).
