Learning Support Programme
Mashrek International School is a private, bilingual, co-educational IB World School recognized by the Jordanian Ministry of Education. It was established in 1992. MIS is an international Baccalaureate world school authorized to give the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for grades 11 and 12; the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for grades 5 to 10 and for KG to Grade 4 Mashrek is now the first authorized school in Jordan for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).
The campus comprises spacious facilities and classrooms that are colorful and conducive to a comfortable and secure learning environment.
The majority of our students are Jordanian; however there are a variety of multicultural and linguistic backgrounds at Mashrek International School in terms of student body and staff. In the past 5 years, there has been an increase in international students. There is diversity in the staff and students' nationality, cultural and linguistic backgrounds. The various nationalities include: Algerian, American, British, Bulgarian, Canadian, Chinese, Colombian, Cypriot, Egyptian, French, German, Iraqi, Kuwaiti, Lebanese, Libyan, Moroccan, Spanish and Syrian. The teaching staff ranges in experience from fresh graduates to 25 years of experience.
