Machabeng College is a grant-aided day and boarding school serving the expatriate and local communities of Maseru and Lesotho. The school is controlled by a board of governors representing the parents, the community and the education authority of the country.
The Machabeng College/International School of Lesotho provides an academic curriculum leading to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education and the International Baccalaureate.

The sports facilities consist of a small all-weather playing surface, and a two-hectare sports field. The swimming pool of the local sports club is used seasonally by the school.
The Machabeng College/International School of Lesotho accepts all students on whose behalf fees are paid by a diplomatic mission, donor agency, etc, but applicants are tested for placement before admission. Application forms are available from the office of the Deputy Headteacher.
