Uplands students have consistently earned placements at world top universities. The School was originally founded in a colonial school atop Penang Hill in 1955 by the Incorporated Society of Planters (ISP) to provide expatriate planters a place to school their children. In 1976, the School was relocated to Georgetown and in 2006, to Batu Ferringhi. As we celebrate our 60th Anniversary, we continue to provide a nurturing environment for expatriate and Malaysian children alike, offering our boarding students a 'home away from home'.
