Monaco has a warm-summer Mediterranean climate (K ppen climate classification: Csa), which is influenced by the oceanic climate and the humid subtropical climate.

The official language of Monaco is French, but there are several languages spoken, including Mon gasque, the national language of the Monegasque people.

Monaco, a tiny country in Europe has Euro as its currency. Despite the fact that Monaco currency is Euro, Monaco is not a member of European Union. Currency of Monaco has helped it achieve a distinct position in terms of rich economy.

The population of Monaco in 2003 was estimated by the United Nations at 32, 000, which placed it as number 188 in population among the 193 nations of the world. In that year approximately 23% of the population was over 65 years of age, with another 15% of the population under 15 years of age.
Capital City:

Monaco-Ville is the original fortified town of Monaco and is one of Monaco's administrative areas, sometimes erroneously believed to be a town or the country's capital, just as Monte Carlo. The official capital is the city of Monaco, which shares exactly the same territory as the country itself.
