The ISH offers the following curricula: International Primary Curriculum; International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme; International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. All lessons are taught in English. The study of Dutch is compulsory through Year 11. The ISH supports mother tongue education programmes in both primary and secondary.

The school moved 2007 into a new modern building in a pleasant residential and recreational area of The Hague, near the sea, with extensive adjoining sports facilities.
