best of both cultures. A feature of our Institute is Tangatarua
Marae (traditional Maori meeting house) recording in carving and

Rotorua

do. Based in the province of the Bay of Plenty, Rotorua is classed
as a provincial city and has an environment that offers a mix of

to sheep farming; from deer farming to emu farming - and even prawn
farming. Some of these are featured in the tourist shows in the
region. The strong tourist influence and wonderful environment has

The International Centre at Waiariki
has been established to provide the student with the necessary support to
help make their stay at the Institute enjoyable and memorable. Our staff
are helpful, friendly and understand what its like to be a stranger in a
new land and, for many students, being away from home for the first time.
