WELS is an English Language School
providing the highest standard of English teaching in a friendly, family
atmosphere. Because we are small and specialised, we are able to take a
personal interest in the welfare of our students and offer advice and
assistance in academic matters, University study, careers and living
conditions in New Zealand.
All of our teachers are qualified and experienced in teaching English
for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
We are registered with the New Zealand government's Qualifications
Authority. Also, Wilkinson's English Language School has agreed to
observe and be bound by the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of
International Students published by the Ministry of Education. Copies of

Courses and Fees
WELS
teaches English
Language courses from Beginner level through to Advanced both General
English and English for Academic Purposes including examination courses.
IELTS is a speciality of
WELS.
The goals and content (curriculum and syllabus) of the courses differ
for each level and for each group of students. Because our classes are
small, there will be many opportunities to discuss the curriculum with
your teacher.
All of our teachers are qualified and experienced in teaching English
for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

Full Time Courses (25 hours per week) NZ$ 278.00 per week
Part Time Courses (15 hours per week) : NZ$ 168.00 per week

When students have settled into life in New Zealand they sometimes
wish to stay in flats with their friends. Prices vary depending on the
number of people in flat and whether the flat is furnished or
unfurnished. As well as the rent you will have to pay your share of the
food, electricity and telephone bills.

Christchurch

reputation for education, both in New Zealand and throughout the world,
and students from the city's two universities ensure a vibrant and
dynamic nightlife. Sports-lovers will find world-class facilities, and
numerous clubs and societies where they can pursue their hobbies.
