Grange School, Lagos, Nigeria

The Grange School was founded as a non-profit-making primary school in September 1958. As part of the 40th anniversary landmarks in September 1998, a secondary school was started to provide for continuity and stability in the education of the pupils.
The school operates the English National Curriculum and prepares pupils for the Standard Attainment Tests - Key Stages 1, 2 & 3 and the IGCSE. All the subjects of the English National Curriculum are offered and each pupil is expected to take a minimum of eight subjects at IGCSE.
Pupils must be 4+ years old by the September of the year of admission into the Reception class and 11+ years old by September of the year of admission into Year 7. Admission is open to every successful candidate irrespective of their national, ethnic or religious background. Class size is kept small to ensure pupils receive individual attention necessary for a good education.
The school stresses educational breadth, so pupils are provided with an environment in which they can develop intellectually, socially and spiritually, helping them to move from childhood to adulthood in such a way that they will be able to take their places in society as successful, responsible, hardworking, compassionate and sensitive people.
There is a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities and pupils are encouraged to pursue interests beyond their studies. Pupils travel widely for competitions and participation in various games and activities with other international schools locally and overseas is a regular part of school life.
Parents and pupils at the school have high expectations. They expect to achieve good academic results as a passport to higher education and a future career.
