Our distinguished faculty take an active interest in your background and career goals, and help guide you through the program. You’ll graduate with the practical and academic knowledge and skills it takes to achieve great things in the real world. The student services specialization includes hands-on training through two internship experiences. This specialization meets the standards of the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS) for graduate programs in student affairs and the standards of the Professional Preparation Commission of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA). In either specialization, you may elect to complete a thesis as the program’s culminating experience or choose from two additional courses that will enhance your knowledge and practical skills.

Student Services Specialization: Prepares you for leadership positions at colleges, community colleges, universities, and technical and vocational centers; including dean; department chair; and director of admissions, financial aid, enrollment, housing, student associations, and student services.
