SKMCH & RC is pleased to announce a preparatory course for the PACES exam.  The course is aimed at candidates preparing for the PACES EXAM and also anyone wanting to update their communication skills for exams. We will primarily be covering Stations 2 & 4 as traditionally Non UK graduates have had trouble with them.

 

SALIENT FEATURES:

1. Topics like essential history taking and communication skills will be covered in these lectures.

2. Important ethical issues like DNR, Taking off ventilator, NG feed etc, will be discussed in accordance with current UK laws.

3. It also involves practice of scenarios with the tutors being the actors plus assessor.

4. In the end a Mock exam will be held in which the marking sheets used will be those used by the Royal College to give the candidates a feel for the exam and the marking process.

 

A registration fee of Rs. 5,000/- needs to be deposited at the Human Resources Department, SKMCH & RC. Confirmation of acceptance will be made on receipt of the course fee.
