Paraguay is entirely landlocked
and is situated between 18? and 28's. It is as large as
the state of California. It is bordered on the north by
Bolivia and Brazil and on the south by Argentina. |

Guaran? specifically the
primary variety known as Paraguayan Guaran?nbsp; is an
indigenous language of South America that belongs to the
Tup?uaran'subfamily of the Tupian languages. It is
one of the official languages of Paraguay, where it is
spoken by the majority of the population, and half of
the rural population is monolingual. It is spoken by
communities in neighbouring countries, including parts
of northern Argentina and southwestern Brazil, and is a
second official language of the Argentine province of
Corrientes. |
