Health Management International Ltd (HMI) is a Singapore-based Healthcare Service and education provider with business activities in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

HMI was listed on the Singapore Exchange (Sesdaq) in 1999.

At HMI-IHS, we deliver industry-relevant healthcare programmes aimed at improving the professional standing of healthcare practitioners.
Located in close proximity to major hospitals, HMI-IHS is the first private dedicated healthcare education provider in Singapore.

Background

The HMI Institute of Health Sciences (HMI-IHS) holds the unique position of being Singapore’s first dedicated private healthcare training provider.

HMI-IHS is the education arm of Health Management International (HMI). Building on HMI’s extensive experience in the fields of healthcare delivery and education services, HMI-IHS was established in December 2000 to deliver quality industry-relevant healthcare related programmes aimed at enhancing the professional standing of healthcare practitioners in Singapore and the region.

HMI-IHS was officially launched by Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister of State (Manpower and Education) on October 1, 2002. The Institute currently provides healthcare vocational skills, nursing and allied health (or non-medical) professional training.

By focusing on developing and delivering quality industry-relevant programmes, HMI-IHS aims to be a major healthcare training and education institute in Singapore and the region.

Today, HMI-IHS comprises the following three schools:

School of Healthcare Vocational Training
School of Continuing Education
