Slovenia is Slovene, which is spoken by a large majority
of the population. It is also known, in English, as
Slovenian. Slovenia currency is a form of money and
the medium of exchange for goods and services in
Slovenia. The official currency of Slovenia is Euro,
which is divided into 100 cents. The population of Slovenia was estimated
at 1, 930, 132 in July 2001. At the 1991 census, it was
1, 962, 606, giving it an overall population density of 97
persons per square kilometers (252 per square miles). Ljubljana is the capital of Slovenia and
its largest city.[3] It is the centre of the City
Municipality of Ljubljana. It is located in the centre
of the country in the Ljubljana Basin, and is a
mid-sized city of some 270, 000 inhabitants.
