Baltimore City Community College is a state-sponsored institution. It was founded as part of the Baltimore City Public Schools in the year 1947. The college enrolls more than 19,000 credit and non credit students each year.
BCCC offers 34 degree and 25 certificate programs in such varied fields as health, nursing, human services, business and information technology. The college has three campuses. Liberty campus, located on the outskirts of Baltimore, is the main campus. The Harbor campus is located in the downtown area, and additional classes are held at the campus at Reisterstown Road Plaza.
Baltimore City Community College’s sports teams are known as the ‘Panthers’ and compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association
