Bard College, established in 1860, is a private college of liberal arts, and is situated in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. The campus of the college is spread across an area of 600 acres. Bard College awards bachelor’s degrees in over 40 academic fields. Master’s degrees are also offered in a number of subjects. Students can also choose from dual-degree programs that are offered by Bard College. The college is organized into the following academic divisions:

Bard College's athletics department fields more than 10 men's and women's sports teams. They compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III and are nicknamed the Raptors.
