there is access to the Arab media through satellite television,

MPhil/PhD Application forms are available upon request
from the Postgraduate Faculty Office or from the Secretary of the
Institute. When completing your form you are asked to give the
programme code. Codes for research programmes in the Institute
are: MPhil/PhD in Middle East Studies (M538)/(A538) Supervision is offered in a wide range of
specialisations covering language, literature, history, politics,
economics, sociology/social anthropology, religion, and culture of
