Course Topics

First Institute offers programs of study leading to certification in three areas: Medical Assistant, Medical office Specialist, and Massage Therapy. Medical Assistant graduates obtain the skills necessary to aid physicians and other medical personnel as they examine and treat patients as well as perform administrative duties. The Medical office Specialist Program will teach students the required skills needed to work in a medical office setting. The Massage Therapy program addresses the increasing demand for massage therapists as well as the renewed interest in health and well being that is manifesting itself throughout the country.
