Message from the President

J. Patrick Campbell, President of Grantham UniversityWelcome to Grantham University. Since 1951, Grantham has contributed to the formal education of thousands of working adults. Students from each of the 50 states and many countries around the world have discovered the benefits and convenience of the Grantham distance education model.

Our undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including business, computer science, criminal justice, and electronics engineering technology, are job market and technology focused. They are designed principally for adults who are working in business, industry, government, and military occupations and who are searching for a solution to their educational needs.

Accessibility – You may enroll any working day throughout the year. You determine where to study. There’s no commuting to a classroom. Required textbooks, software and other study materials are delivered to your door or downloaded from our Web site for your convenience.

Academic Accountability – A key institutional value of the University is the student- centered academic model. In partnership with our faculty, you set the pace for course completion based on your time commitment and how quickly you learn. Although you study independently, instructors are readily available to help when you need them.

Accreditation - Grantham University is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). The Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

Are you one of the many adults seeking to enter a professional field or advance your career but are held back by a lack of formal education? If so, Grantham’s distance learning programs are a proven and practical alternative for earning your college degree.

J. Patrick Campbell
President, Grantham University
