Study at Hallmark College

Hallmark College originated in San Antonio, Texas, in 1969 as what was then called Hallmark Aero_tech, an aircraft maintenance school. In 1981, the school launched an electronics program and one year later, became the first private career school in Texas to offer associate degrees. A second campus, also in San Antonio, opened in 1985, at which a business program was launched. In 1995, Hallmark Aero_tech was renamed Hallmark Institute of Aeronautics and Hallmark Institute of Technology. A few years later, the school initiated programs in the fields of computer networking, medical assisting, and business office administration. In 2007 the school adopted its current name of Hallmark College.

Hallmark College Admissions

Hallmark's admissions process begins by setting up an interview with an Admissions Representative, who will explore the applicant's program of interest and answer all questions. The Admissions Representative will also assist in completing the necessary admissions forms and setting up an interview with a Financial Planning Advisor. An opportunity will be provided to tour the facilities and view the educational environment first hand. Prospective students must be high school graduates or hold a GED certificate or home schooled diploma. Eligible students must pass the Hallmark College entrance assessment.

Hallmark College Student Life

Hallmark offers a variety of student services including help locating daycare, transportation, housing and part-time employment. Student Services Coordinators also organize school sponsored social events such as the Tamale Party held each December. The city of San Antonio, home to the historic Alamo, is centrally located in South Texas with a wide variety of recreational opportunities close by. Hallmark's Aviation Campus, located at the southeast corner of the San Antonio International Airport, occupies over 60,000 sq. ft. of classroom and hangar space. Education facilities include laboratories, aircraft hangars, academic classrooms, and a library. The Technology Campus is a 40,000 sq. ft. two-story facility with student and faculty parking available on the immediate campus grounds. Educational facilities include modern laboratories, academic classrooms and a library.
