Study at Indiana University East
Indiana University East, also known as IU East, is located in Richmond, Indiana, United States. It was founded on July 1, 1971. The college opened its doors in 1972, and the first classes were held with 633 students. The first chancellor of the university was Alexander Schilt. The campus spreads across an area of more than 170 acres and has four academic buildings. The first building, Whitewater Hall, was completed in 1976. It offers more than 50 degree programs and is divided into the following academic schools:

- School of Humanities & Social Sciences
- School of Natural Science & Mathematics
- School of Nursing
- School of Social Work
IU East is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and participates in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Their sports teams are called the Red Wolves.
