Study at Labette Community College
Labette Community College, or LCC, was originally established in 1923 as the Parsons Junior College. It was renamed the Labette Community Junior College in 1967, and finally came to be known as the Labette Community College in 1978. It is located in Parsons, Kansas. Labette Community College awards the Associate in Applied Science, Associate in Arts, Associate in General Studies, and Associate in Science degrees. Students can opt for courses in the academic areas of English, criminal justice, mathematics, sciences, nursing, education, and computer sciences, among others. The athletics department of Labette Community College fields teams in baseball, basketball, softball, volleyball, and wrestling. The teams are known as the Cardinals.
