Study at Lancaster Bible College
Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School is also known as Lancaster Bible College or LBC. LBC is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The college was founded as the Lancaster School of the Bible in 1933 by Henry J. Heydt. The campus of LBC spreads over 36 acres. LBC provides Biblical and religious education. Students are offered a variety of graduate and undergraduate degrees and certificate programs, including cross cultural ministry, social work, professional counseling, Christian education and worship arts. Lancaster Bible College is a member of the Nation Christian Colleges Athletic Association Division III, the North East Collegiate Volleyball Association and the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The athletic teams are nicknamed the Chargers. Students at LBC participate in a number of sports, including basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis and volleyball. Lancaster Bible College is located in a large suburb, in Lancaster, PA. The school is a private, not-for-profit institution. Degree levels at Lancaster Bible College top out at the Master's degree. Students at the school often study religion and philosophy. The admissions department at Lancaster Bible College does not accept all those who apply. Most students' verbal SAT scores were in the range of 450 to 570 in 2007. A quarter of students admitted in 2007 scored 540 or higher on the math SAT.
