Study at Saint Vincent College
Saint Vincent College was originally established as a men’s college in 1846. It became a coeducational institute in 1983. Founded by Boniface Wimmer, Saint Vincent College was the first Benedictine monastery in America. The college’s sprawling campus occupies over 200 acres of land in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Saint Vincent College offers a large number of undergraduate and graduate degree programs through the following academic divisions: The athletics department of Saint Vincent College sponsors teams in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, field hockey, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and volleyball. The teams are nicknamed the Bearcats and are members of the Presidents' Athletic Conference. Latrobe, PA is home to Saint Vincent College. Latrobe is a large suburb. Students select the school partly because it is a Roman Catholic school. Saint Vincent College is a private, not-for-profit institution. Degrees at the school go up to the Master's degree.
