Study at Temple College
Temple College, also known as TC, is a public, two-year co-educational college that was established in 1926 and is located in Temple, Texas. The college, which has several campuses located in Cameron, Downtown, Taylor and Waco, offers several undergraduate degrees with a wide variety of programs. TC boasts an enrollment of over 3,500 students per year and is organized into the following academic divisions: The College has an active student life. It possesses a prominent athletics department and is home to several men’s and women’s games such as baseball, basketball, softball, volleyball, and others. The sports teams, known as the Leopards, have won championships in various inter-collegiate competitions. The students also participate in cheerleading. The main campus of Temple College is in Temple, TX (a small city). The school is a public school. Temple College offers degrees up to the Associate's degree. The school students most commonly major in a field related to nursing and emergency medicine. Temple College admits all qualified candidates under its open-admission policy. Students attending the school come from a variety of places, in and out of state. Temple College offers tenure to reward and retain some professors. In 2007, the school had 4,787 enrolled students.
