Study at Uintah Basin Applied Technology College
Uintah Basin Applied Technology College, popularly referred to as UBATC, was established in 1968. It was formerly known as the Uintah Basin Area Vocational Center. The Roosevelt Campus and the Vernal Campus are the two campuses of the UBATC. The main campus is in Roosevelt, Utah. Uintah Basin Applied Technology College offers certificates and associate’s degree programs in the academic disciplines of business, technology, health and medical services, skilled trades, and security and protective service. Uintah Basin Applied Technology College has a large number of on-campus student organizations. Among them include the SkillsUSA, and Health Occupations Students of America. Both the Vernal campus and the Roosevelt campus have Career Centers that provide career counseling to the students. It also guides the students in obtaining their desired jobs. Students attend Uintah Basin Applied Technology College in Roosevelt, UT, a rural site not far from an urban area. The school is a public institution. Uintah Basin Applied Technology College degrees go up to the Associate's degree. The school is known for its programs in transportation, nursing and emergency medicine, construction trades, and production trades.
