Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technician degree (AAS), which can be completed in 18 months
Job placement assistance after graduation

An on-site kennel offering hands-on experience with a variety of animals.

An AVMA accredited program – after graduation, you’ll be eligible to take the national certification exam and become a registered veterinary technician.


The Veterinary Technician program is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA).

Vet Tech Institute of Houston is also accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges & Schools (ACICS).
