Virginia College, founded in 1983, is an institution of higher education with nine campus locations throughout the southern U.S. The school also operates Virginia College Online, an extension of the College which offers busy students the opportunity to pursue a degree from home while maintaining commitments to work and family. A variety of graduate and undergraduate degree programs are available via the Online extension. The College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools.

All programs are offered entirely online in a convenient and flexible format. Assignment deadlines are based on each course syllabus, but class work can be done 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to fit the student's own schedule.
