Teacher/Pupil ratio 1:9 Kennedy House is one of the most recognized and highly recommended International Preparatory schools in East Africa educating children between the ages of 2-14 years. We are a Cambridge accredited international school and offer a British program of studies, with international benchmarks in the form of a variety of testing and examinations, including the Cambridge examinations, SATs and Common Entrance Exams. In 2017 our expansion will allow for a home away from home style of boarding facilities.

At Kennedy House we prepare students to understand, contribute to, and succeed in a rapidly changing society by providing a holistic education allowing children to develop emotionally, socially and academically. Our focus is the child, giving each the opportunity to excel and extend their confidence, which will lead them to success and leadership in the future. The children have abundant opportunities to learn and experience life beyond the classroom. We provide an enhanced curriculum supported by an extensive co-curricular programme in sports, drama, arts and music that enriches the whole person as we are committed to developing life-long learners who are characterised by their discipline, integrity, creativity and compassion.

Our school is at the heart of the community, has a caring and supportive atmosphere and upholds values of respect and compassion. We celebrate diversity and encourage children to respect and embrace differences. We have high standards and are dedicated to helping all of our pupils to achieve their potential. Excellence and success are encouraged and celebrated.
