School Introduction
The Leicester Square School of English is accredited by the British Council and a member of English UK.
LSSE started in 1992 and since then has become one of the most popular schools in central London.
Over the last seventeen years we have taught over eighteen thousand students, a large number of whom return again and again to enjoy London's vibrant life and continue their studies.
As we are British Council Accredited you can be sure of an excellent course whilst being in the very centre of London.
Our school and main office is located in Leicester Square itself. The school is next to the world famous Odeon Cinema, where many of the film premieres take place. This is an idyllic setting as we are in the very centre of London. Leicester Square is traffic free, surrounded by outside cafes and restaurants, where students, office works and tourists sit to enjoy the atmosphere of musicians and street artists.

ESL Program Introduction
Our General English classes start every Monday we have a range of different levels from beginner to advanced. About one third of class time is dedicated to conversation and the rest covers grammar, listening, reading and writing. These are good all round courses to give basic knowledge of English or to improve on skills that are already present. These courses are tailored to suit everybody.
You can choose to study 15, 20, 25 or 30 lessons per week depending on how intensive you would like your study programme to be.
You can book a course of any length from 1 week to 52 weeks. These courses have an average class size of 12 students with a minimum of 16.
When you have completed your course we will present you with a diploma and full language report.
We also have IELTS courses starting in most months of the year. These courses are four weeks long, with 20 hours per week study time. The IELTS exam is internationally recognised and will enable the student to move on to further education in a University or college in the UK.
Academic Year courses have set start dates, please contact us for dates, these courses are for a full academic year with 35 weeks of study, studying for 20 hours per week. These courses are for students who wish to immerse themselves in the English way of life and study for a full academic year.
