Throughout the school our curriculum is taught half in French and half in English. From nursery to Year 11, we follow the rigorous French National curriculum combined with the rounded qualities of a traditional English education, with arts, music, drama and sport, as well as a broad range of extra-curricular activities and private music tuitions. From an early age, students will learn to study independently, to question constructively and to make critical judgments. They will be encouraged in inter-disciplinary exploration, which in turn sparks creativity.
As our students progress through the Senior School, we prepare them to the IB Diploma Programme. We have applied to be a Candidate School to offer this diploma and we will be the first school in the UK to teach the IB Diploma Programme subjects in both French and English.
Our Junior School is located at 36, Portland Place. Our Senior School is at Duchess House, 10, Duchess Street, just a short walk from EIFA's Junior School site. Both are beautiful period properties that are ideally adapted for teaching and learning inside. In both schools, the feeling of inclusiveness and of belonging is paramount. This is one of the reasons that our students are not all from Francophone families, but from international and indeed English-only families.
Come and visit us to experience a day in the life of EIFA. We are located in the heart of Marylebone. Contact our School Secretary Ms Gael Panhelleux at firstname.lastname@example.org to book a private tour of our school.
