Study at Metropolitan Community College Area
Metropolitan Community College, or MCC, was founded in 1974 when the Nebraska State Legislature consolidated the state's eight technical community college areas into six. It was originally named the Metropolitan Technical Community College Area and later in 1992, it was renamed the Metropolitan Community College Area.
MCC has campuses in North Omaha at Fort Omaha, in South Omaha, and in Elkhorn. It also has centres in Bellevue, La Vista and Fremont. The college enrolls more than 25, 000 credit students and over 15, 000 non credit students. It offers more than 100 programs and degrees in diverse Course Topics.
MCC has various clubs and organizations to assist students in their overall development and personal enrichment.
