The school is located in the centre of the historic city of Bath and is housed in a beautiful Georgian building set in its own gardens. The teaching rooms are furnished in keeping with the building's age, but with all the necessary modern technology to hand. There is a central meeting place for coffee and lunch breaks. It is open all year round offering courses in General, Business and Management English.

We offer specialist one-to-one courses, enabling us to train you in all the necessary business language skills, or alternatively small group tuition. In both cases, you will be experiencing the English language first-hand in everything you see and do and whichever type of course you choose, you can be assured of a high quality course based on our expertise and experience. Our ultimate teaching objective is for you, the student, to communicate to the best of your ability. Before you arrive in Bath, you will be asked to take a written and oral test so that we can target your level and needs. We specialise in both one-to-one and small group tuition for an international student base. Our group courses are restricted to just six students to ensure maximum individual participation.

Our courses are recognised as vocational training by the German Government, which means that employees in Germany can take leave to participate in our courses. All our staff are qualified teachers and hold a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate. You will be encouraged to participate in all kinds of lessons, all of which are structured to develop effective communication skills.

Our Business English courses are designed to provide specialist grammar and vocabulary for use in the corporate environment. We help students to develop the language skills required to give presentations, take part in negotiations and communicate effectively by telephone and letter. The school has links with many local companies which students of Business English can visit to exchange ideas and practice specialist language skills.

Our host families live in various parts of Bath but both the school and the city centre are always within a short walk or bus journey. Every effort is made to match students with appropriate families. Breakfast and evening meals are provided and can easily cater for vegetarian or any special dietary needs. The accommodation is in single rooms although if you wish to come with a partner and require a double room this can be arranged.

Alternatively, rooms in a hotel or guest house can be booked by arrangement and at extra charge.
