Southeast Arkansas College is a state-supported, locally controlled, technical community college accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

 

 

Academic Departments

 

General Studies

The General Studies Department of Southeast Arkansas College serves the general education needs of the service area in addition to providing technical programs. Through this department, the college confers the Associate of Arts degree (two year transfer program), the Technical Certificate (one year program), the Associate of Applied Science degree (two year program), and the Advanced Technical Certificate (three years)

The General Studies department includes all general education courses such as English, math, chemistry, and other courses.

  • Early Childhood Development Technology (AAS)

 

Nursing & Allied Health

The Nursing & Allied Health Department at Southeast Arkansas College serves the educational needs of the health care community. Through this department, the college confers the Certificate of Proficiency (one semester program), the Technical Certificate (one year program), and the Associate of Applied Science degree (two year program).

  • Nursing-CNA (CP)

  • Nursing-LPN, Licensed Practical (TC)

  • Nursing-LPN, Evening/Weekend Program (TC)
