Study at Chattahoochee Valley Community College

Chattahoochee Valley Community College, also known as CVCC, was founded in the year 1973 by an act of the Alabama State Legislature. It is situated in Phenix City, Alabama. The campus of the college comprises of eight buildings which are spread across an area of more than 100 acres. CVCC offers a number of academic programs in a wide range of subjects. The college is organized into the following academic divisions:

  • Division of Business Computer and Social Sciences
  • Divisions of Health Sciences
  • Division of Language and Fine Arts
  • Divisions of Mathematics and Science

CVCC's athletics department fields various men's and women's sports teams. They compete in National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and Alabama Junior and Community College Conference. The teams participate in sports including baseball, basketball, and fastpitch softball.
