Heald College is more than just another career college
We are a regionally accredited, private career college that has been
preparing students for rewarding careers in Healthcare, Business and
Technology for over 140 years.
Heald is regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and
Colleges (WASC). That's a quality certification that must be earned and
that not every college gets. It makes us proud and makes your Heald
education more valuable. It also allows us to have articulation
agreements with other regionally accredited institutions that accept
Heald credits toward bachelor’s degree programs.

But, perhaps the most important thing that sets Heald apart is that
we've been around for over 140 years. We're not new to career education.
We started with one campus in San Francisco, back in 1863, and we've
expanded to 11 campuses across the western United States: Concord,
Fresno, Hayward, Rancho Cordova, Roseville, Salinas, San Francisco, San
Jose, Stockton, Honolulu and Portland. That's intelligent growth, one
student at a time.
