Everett Community College

Everett is one of Washington's oldest community colleges, established in 1941, and has a fine tradition of excellence.  Everett Community College is located in a friendly and safe neighborhood in north Everett.

A special place, Everett is proud of its own symphony, theater, Opera Guild, art galleries and home to the minor-league baseball team affiliated with the Seattle Mariners.  Residents of Everett enjoy:

  • Easy access to “big city” attractions in Seattle and Vancouver (Canada).

  • Hiking, skiing, camping, fishing and sailing areas.

  • Mild weather with a year-round climate between 41 degrees Fahrenheit (5 degrees Celsius) January and 72oF (22oC) in August.  Average rainfall is 36.5 inches.

On campus facilities include computer and science labs, a spacious library-media center, photography, graphic design and media labs, technical program shop, cafeteria, bookstore, an art gallery,  and student services offices such as diversity and equity center, disability services, student support services, counseling and career center, and the enrollment services center.

HOUSING

Many international students participate in a home stay program.  Host families help students become familiar with American customs.  A monthly fee for room and board is paid directly to the host family.  Everett Community College does not have dormitories, but there are apartments available nearby.  Many students come to the college by bus.  Those who live outside the city generally drive to the college.  Auto insurance in mandatory.
