Old Concordia CampusConcordia provides a variety of educational opportunities for students who are preparing for vocations in the ministry of the church and for various professional and business careers in the community. The program of studies emphasizes a liberal arts curriculum and course offerings provide educational experiences that cultivate personal and vocational skills. The total program is centered in the Christian philosophy with a confessional Lutheran emphasis. It is governed by sound educational standards and is focused on the spiritual, academic, social, and physical development of students.

 

 

About CUW

 

Concordia University Wisconsin is a 4-year, NCA-accredited, co-educational, liberal arts school offering 48 undergraduate majors of study, 8 graduate programs and 4 adult education undergraduate majors. Concordia's attractive campus consists of 155 acres on the shore of Lake Michigan, just 15 minutes north of downtown Milwaukee.

 

 

Facilities

 

The Chapel of Christ Triumphant

The Chapel of Christ Triumphant is the site of many concerts, daily chapel services and Sunday worship.  The chapel can seat up to 700 individuals.

 

 

Sports and Fitness Centre

Sports and Finess CenterThe newest addition to the CUW campus with a dedication date of October 19, 2002. This 22,000 square foot facility includes state-of-the-art Universal sports equipment, computerized assessment tools, the new CUW Sports Hall of Fame, and athletic offices. Recipient of a $150,000 National Fitness Foundation Grant, the center is the final piece in Concordia's commitment to a holistic approach to education which enriches mind, body and spirit. 

 

The R. John Buuck Field House

CUW R. J. Buuck Field HouseThe R. John Buuck Field House was constructed in 1989. This multi-purpose facility includes basketball courts, volleyball courts, baseball batting cages and an indoor track.

 

 

 

 

Rincker Memorial Library

Inside Rincker Memorial LibraryRincker Memorial Library serves the faculty, staff and students of Concordia University Wisconsin. The collection currently holds over 108,000 volumes, maintains over 800 periodical subscriptions and subscribes to a variety of electronic databases. The main area of the library was completely remodeled in the Summer of 2002.

 

 

International Students


Concordia University Wisconsin has an extensive international focus which includes students from a diverse range of foreign countries who study at CUW and global education opportunities for current CUW students.
 

The Office of International Student Services (OISS) promotes interaction among students from around the world.  All members of the campus community are invited to use the resources available through the office.
