Study at University of Alaska Anchorage

University of Alaska Anchorage was established in 1954 and is situated in Anchorage, Alaska. It is the largest member of the University of Alaska System and has over 15,000 students. The university has the following schools and colleges:

  • College of Arts and Sciences

  • College of Business and Public Policy

  • College of Health and Social Welfare

  • School of Engineering

  • School of Nursing

  • The Community and Technical College

University of Alaska Anchorage provides graduate degrees through the Graduate Division. There are four community campuses:

  • Kenai Peninsula College

  • Kodiak College

  • Matanuska-Susitna College

  • Prince William Sound Community College

The university's mascot is the Seawolves, and the athletics teams are nicknamed the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves. The official colors are gold and green. The university has track and field, volleyball, basketball, and cross country teams.
