Profile ofArizona Automotive Institute Since 1968, Arizona Automotive Institute (AAI) has been offering specialized training programs in career fields such as automotive technology, autotronics, diesel technology and heating, and ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC). Located in Glendale, Arizona, AAI specializes in high-quality automotive training and also offers automotive industry job placement assistance as well as housing assistance for students attending its Glendale campus. Course Topics AAI students can prepare themselves for careers in the automotive industry by earning diplomas in one or more of the following programs:
Arizona Automotive Institute Admissions AAI admits as regular students any person having a diploma from an accredited high school or the recognized equivalent (such as a GED). Those wishing to apply should contact the school or one of its admissions officers. Prior to acceptance, an applicant must be interviewed by an admissions officer, complete an enrollment agreement, and submit other information that may be required to determine qualifications. Arizona Automotive Institute Faculty Quality Faculty members are energetic, outgoing and detail-oriented individuals fully knowledgeable in their fields. Instructors conduct morning, afternoon and evening classes to allow students to earn a living while they learn. Arizona Automotive Institute Student Enrollment Current enrollment is around 800 students. Approximately 95% of the Student Enrollment is male. Arizona Automotive Institute Center Student Life AAI's on-site housing coordinator is available to help students with housing needs. The coordinator works with an outside housing management company that has numerous privately owned apartment units available. The Institute also has a robust Student Services office, which advises students and graduates on available jobs in the area for which they have been trained. The 7.5-acre campus, conveniently located near public transportation, includes over 77,000 square feet of air-conditioned classrooms, shops, work areas, offices, and a library containing reference and reading materials related to the academic programs.
