Arkansas State University (ASU) is a four year public school, located in Jonesboro. It was established in 1909. ASU is the main campus of the Arkansas State University system. The school has on-campus housing available for more than 2,400 students.

ASU is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission as well as 18 specialized accrediting organizations. It is regionally accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (NCACHE).
