University of Arkansas at Little Rock, also known as UALR, is situated in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is the third leading university in terms of enrollment. The university was established in 1927, and is the only metropolitan university of the state. UALR has the following schools and colleges under it:

The sports teams of UALR are nicknamed the UALR Trojans. They are non-football members of the Sun Belt Conference. Some notable alumni of the university are Stewart Isbell, photographer; Lynda Hull, poet; Mike Ross, U.S. Congressman; and Jerry Maulden, Retired CEO of Entergy Arkansas Corporation.
