The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope, also known as UACCH, was originally established as the Red River Vocational_technical School in 1965. It became the River Technical College in 1991, and was absorbed as a part of the University of Arkansas System in 1996. The same year, the institute was christened the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope. The 72-acre campus of UACCH is situated in Hope, Arkansas.
