Study at California School of Culinary Arts - Pasadena Profile of California School of Culinary Arts Pasadena California School of Culinary Arts was launched in 1994 and today is one of a small number of schools in the U.S. that offer the Cordon Bleu diplme. The school is located in Pasadena in southern California, near Los Angeles. The school also operates a real restaurant on campus where our cooking students can obtain hand-on, real-life experience in preparing food and managing a restaurant. Points of Distinction Course Topics California School of Culinary Arts offers programs and degrees in baking, culinary arts and restaurant management. California School of Culinary Arts Admissions and Financial Aid Prospective students applying for admission must have completed high school or a GED. They are also required to attend an information session and take a tour of the facilities. There is an application form that must be submitted along with a fee. International students whose first language is other than English must provide evidence of English proficiency. The school's student finance department assists student in securing the funds they need to complete their studies. California School of Culinary Arts Faculty Quality The cooking instructors at the school are experienced chefs who impart their real-world knowledge to the school's Student Enrollment. Faculty leverage the industry-current kitchen facilities to provide students with an environment similar to those of restaurants in which they will implement their skills after graduation. California School of Culinary Arts Student Life The school is near Los Angeles providing a vibrant backdrop to student life beyond the classroom and kitchen.
